Anyone playing in OSP’s drop-ins, lessons, and leagues has an OSP rating that allows them access to the above. For any member who wants their rating changed to access higher level training, lessons, or leagues may due so by the following:
1. First step is to ask one of the pros if they think your rating is still accurate.
2. If the pros have familiarity with you from recent leagues, lessons, evaluations, or observation then they can discuss. May be an obvious change.
3. If not familiar or is familiar with player but pros do not agree with change then go to next criteria.
4. Do you have a well established DUPR that it higher than your OSP rating?
5. Have you competed in a league or tournament resulting in demonstrating yourself as one of the strongest players?
6. If pros still not in agreement then players can do the following:
7. Join a league, training class, formal evaluation, work on DUPR.
OR
8. Ask for and participate in arranging a challenge match.
9. If challenge match demonstrates to the pros that you are on par with the opposing players then you will be moved to that rating.
10. At any point can have conversations from pros to look into working on a path to attaining a higher ranking (we have private/semi private lessons, formal evaluations with training plan, Road Classes, training classes).
