Yes. Using the Court Reserve app, a member is able to reserve a court up to eight days in advance. Non members can reserve a court one-two days in advance. Ocean State Pickleball Club Pickleball utilizes CourtReserve to book courts and sign up to play. Please download the app or go to courtreserve.com and click on: “create your free account”. As soon as you set up your free account, you are able to reserve courts through the CourtReserve app.

Free Drop-ins for Members are available at multiple levels every day. We offer over 40 hours drop-ins weekly. Members are FREE and may sign up up to 8-days in advance (Guests are $20 and 2-days advance registration). Members may sign up to 3 drop-ins per week up to 8-days in advance. They may sign up for additional days at 5 or less days in advance. Members can play in more than 1 drop-in per day if the second drop-in still has room, with only same-day registration, for a $5 fee.

Yes! We have large group beginner Pickleball classes, as well as private (1 student), semi private (2 students), three and me (3 students), and small group (4 students).

Our proshop carries clothing, sneakers, paddles, balls, and other equipment. Our variety of to paddles are available to demo within the club. Free to demo in all lessons. Otherwise, $5 which can be applied to a future paddle purchase. We have the best prices.

For Court Reservations: There is a 24 hour cancellation/reschedule policy for court reservations. If canceled with 24 hours notice, you will receive a credit to your account. No credits will be given if canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice. Look under “My Reservations” in Court Reserve, find the date and time, click on it, and “Cancel Reservation” will be one of your options. For Free Drop In Play: There is a 12 hour cancellation/reschedule policy for drop in reservations. Please be considerate of other members who may want to reserve a drop in spot. Look under “My Events” in Court Reserve, find the date and time of your registration, click on it, and “Cancel Registration” should be one of your options. For Lessons, Clinics & Camps: There is a 48 hour cancellation/reschedule policy. We want to be considerate of members who may want to sign up for one of these programs. If cancelled with 48 hours notice you will receive a credit to your account. No credits will be given if cancelled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours notice. Refunds are processed within 2-3 business days. You are able to edit your court reservation in Court Reserve – go to My Reservations in the app, click on your reservation, and you can edit the date and the time from there!

OSP has handicap-accessible bathrooms with plenty of room to change in (no showers). We do not have lockers, but we do have a lobby/sitting area with cubbies.

You can bring small snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. No drinks allowed on the courts themselves. Groups are only allowed to bring food/cater when renting for an event/party. We have a bar and variety of sports drinks, protein bars, and snacks.

Yes! OSP runs multiple tournaments at OSP including RI Open Pickleball Championships, RI Senior Games, OSP Club Championships, (Finbarr Murray)St Patrick’s Day Tournament and others.

Members and Registered guests can rent a paddle for $5 per day/session – which can be lept as a future credit towards purchase of a paddle. (we do carry the top brands at best prices). You do need indoor court shoes, however. Indoor court shoes are shoes that are appropriate for playing (athletic/tennis/pickleball/running shoes), that are free from the debris of the Rhode Island outside environment (snow/salt/mud). You do need to bring your own pickleballs to use. If you don’t have your own, OSP will have some available for purchase at the front desk.

Looking to get some balls of your own? You will want outdoor balls for OSP play, because these are outdoor courts in an indoor setting. We have balls available for purchase.

Standard operating hours : Monday – Friday 630 am – 10 pm, Saturday 7am – 830pm, Sunday 7 am – 7pm.

During Prime Time, the member cost is $39 for 90 minutes. We have off peak member specials at $30 per court. The non-member cost is $80 for 90 minutes. You may have up to 6 players for each court reserved. There is Free Drop IN play several days of the week for members only.

Yes, OSP has a limited amount of memberships available. Members have access to daily FREE drop-ins as well as huge discounts on courts, lessons and leagues. OSP id open to the public if you create a Guest Account. Guests have limitations to advance registration and do not get member discounts.
